Free Sunday School Kindness Activity

Help children ages 4–8 explore kindness through a short Bible-centered activity. This simple lesson can be used by parents, caregivers, homeschool families, and children’s ministry volunteers.

1. Read together

Read Ephesians 4:2 from your preferred Bible translation. Talk about patience, gentleness, and love.

2. Ask three questions

1. What does kindness look like when a friend is sad?
2. How can we show patience when we have to wait?
3. What is one loving thing we can do today?

3. Try the kindness challenge

Invite each child to choose one small act of kindness: share a toy, help tidy up, encourage a friend, or thank someone who helped them.

4. Keep learning
